There are plenty of recipe apps to choose from, but two of our favorite are the Food Network app and Yummly for creative recipes from Mole Poblano to fresh salsa. Not in the mood to cook? Consider using apps like DoorDash, Uber Eats, Grubhub or other food delivery apps to bring inventive Mexican cuisine directly to your door.
Set the mood with music and tune into Mexican radio stations you can stream directly from your wireless device. You can also download the radio Mexico app for iOS or Android. Want a more curated experience? Consider creating a Spotify playlist or getting recommends from your connected home smart device.
What better time than now to learn the history of Cinco de Mayo? The day is actually not the celebration of Mexican Independence, but a holiday celebrated in Mexico and the US in honor of a military victory over the French forces of Napolean III in 1862. Learn more by downloading the History app. This is also a good time to start those Spanish lessons you’ve also wanted to take up. Duolingo’s app makes daily learning fun with quizzes and playful characters.
